In Google AdWords, to prevent your ad from showing for certain keywords, you want to ad that keyword with a “-” sign in front of it, i.e. for this example you would ad -used, -rental, -insurance, -cool, and so on.

Very first thing you need to do is understand your market. What I mean by this is you need to understand what motivates them, what drives them. What are their hot buttons? What would they sell their first born to solve? These are the questions that have to be answered or there is no way that you’re ever going to reach these people. So strategy number one is to put out surveys. Ask people what they want. Have them sign up to your list just so that they can tell you. If they have a really serious problem, trust me, they’ll do it.

If there are digital marketing people out there who want software to make decisions on their behalf – That’s great, let them do it. We feel this feature should have been optional, just as site links, day parting, and bid rules are.

Digital marketing would be quickly evolving into an entirely integrated whole. A website redesign would be a big event for any digital marketing campaign, so it would make sense that such a process need to be integrated as possible. Should a site give real value, it mustn’t be left to only designers plus aesthetics. The SEO team, copywriters, sales team plus social media managers should all be very involved, right from the beginning.
